A cell phone can kill you. Drivers should not be allowed to text and drive. Here are 3 reasons why. Texting while driving will distract you and may cause a serious accident. You texting could get someone else hurt. Texting can also cause fatal injuries.The first reason why cell phones are dangerous is, cell phones are distractions. If people stop texting and driving, there would be significant amount of less car accidents,injuries, and deaths worldwide.

When driving and texting/in a call, your brain loses focus.In Fact, in the article “How The Brain Works” it states when listening to a voice while on the road, our brain loses about 37% of focus.This is evidence that if you are using a phone in any way, there are more chances of you getting into a car crash, and it would be even more worse if someone was in the vehicle with you and died because of you giving more attention to your phone than the road. …show more content…
People shouldn't be allowed to text and drive because,when there is someone else in the vehicle and the driver gets them into a car accident, the other person with them will become affected by the car crash and possibly get them killed.Around 1.3 million people die each year do to car accidents,20 to 50 million people are left with disabilities and 330,000 of the injuries are caused by texting
