(An Analysis of Macbeths Downfall)
William Shakespeare’s, Macbeth is a character of great mystery and violence. Throughout the play Macbeth becomes more and more demented, for three reasons. The first being his first encounter with the witches and them telling him the three prophecies. The second being his wife, Lady Macbeth, making him commit a murder when he didn’t feel good about it. The third being Macbeth himself. Macbeth becomes the man he is because of three reasons. The first reason Macbeth becomes the man he is, is his encounter with the witches. They told him he wouldn’t be the king because Banquo’s son would be. Then they told him three prophecies that would ensure he didn’t become king if they ever happened.
