Harambe, a 440 lb western lowland gorilla occupying a small pen in the Cincinnati zoo. Many gazed at his magnificence and maybe one day wanting to share the moment that brings a smile to your face with their future family; sadly there is one big reason why that will never happen, this big reason is summed up into one big, scary word. Violence. Many people loved Harambe and wanted people to know it. There are numerous rhymes, songs, and sayings expressing people’s love and miss for the beloved Harambe. Harambe is one of many victims of violence. Violence could happen to anyone at anytime.
