Who Is The Antagonist In The False Prince

Improved Essays
1)The False Price Jennifer A. Nielsen

2A)The main protagonist in The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen is Sage. Sage is an orphaned boy who lived in Mrs. Turbeldy’s Orphanage for Disadvantaged Boys from when he was very small. Sage is actually later revealed to be Prince Jaron of Carthya. Sage is a sarcastic, stubborn, and rude teenage boy, who is actually a prince.

2B)The main antagonist is Bevin Connor. He is the man who bought Sage for his special plan to make one of his 3 “orphans” take the throne of Carthya. Connor is after power, he doesn’t care who he kills, as long and he gets something his way. He was once King Eckbert’s regent, but he decided to only become one so that he could get close to the king and his family. Connor is very

Characteristics that helped me reconize the genre include the fights, the fast-paced plot, and the surprizes that the book holds that makes you want to read more.

6)The universal theme from the story is “Never forget who you truely are.” This is the theme because Sage is actually Prince Jaron and he had to pretend to be someone he actually wasn’t for so long that he almost forgot who he actually was. Throughout the book, he was constantly reminding himself that he is Prince Jaron and he can not forget who he is. In the book, Sage is always trying to act like an orphaned boy, his disguise, but he is tempted to reveal is true identity.

7)Page 257 - Mott lowered himself to one knee and bowed his head. “What I think, if you forgive me of my blindness is that I was never looking at Sage the orphan. I kneel before the living king of Carthya. You are King Jaron.” This quote is one of the most important quotes in the whole book because it shows that Mott was the first person to figure out Sage’s true identity. Page 79 - “I’m not sitting in a chair meant for five-year olds. Get me a real chair” Sage says this to Master Graves, even though Master Graves could kill him if he wanted to. This quote shows Sage’s true personality, rude and

Sage is basically fooling others to believe that he is Sage, a nobody. In the process, Sage almost fools himself to believe that he is nobody, but he constantly reminds himself that he is the Prince of Carthya - now the king because someone murdured his whole family. I think that this is the best song for this book because the song name best reflects the book, and the lyrics also accurately reflects the book.

9)If I was to rate this book, I would give it a 4 out of 5 because I absolutely love the action/adventure novel. However, this book took place in the Midieaval time period and I have never read a book that took time in that time period. At first, I didn’t like the time period, but after reading the book for a while, I loved it. I only rate it 4 because the book could use more action, but overall, the book was amazing and I recommend it to people that like books about kings, castles, and deception.

10)If I was to make a dream movie cast for this book, I would choose Logan Lerman for the part of Sage because he looks like how the author described Sage in the book. Also, I would choose Colin Ford for Roden because he in on of his movies, he played a character that was like Roden. Finally, I would choose Michael Madsen for Bevin Connor because Michael Madsen is one of the best villain actors in

In Vincent Barnett's article that interprets Machiavelli's "The Prince" was intriguing. Many readers were shocked about Machiavelli's guide to be a leader, but he was only telling the truth. Creon’s Musical Memoir Song 1: “I’m the Man” - Aloe Blacc “It's time to do what must be done be a king when kingdom comes…” “Go ahead and tell everybody, I'm the man…” These lines from Aloe Blacc’s, “I’m the Man” remind of Creon in many ways. One way it fits Creon is because he has to become king of Thebes after Polyneices and Eteocles kill each other. Another reason it reminds me of him is also the cocky attitude he has because he wants everyone to know who’s in charge.…

There were many reason i wasn't able to do that one, first of all i couldn't find the book anywhere i ask all the libraries and they all said that book is checked out in their systems, second reason was that the book was extremely long and i wouldn't be able to finish it, third reason was that the book is extremely boring i looked up a book summary online for it and i got so bored i almost fell asleep reading the summary. So now the book i have is The Bean Tree, now don't get me wrong i'm not saying that this book is NOT boring but its better than my first book. And last thing, i forgot to ask you if this book is okay to read, but i asked the libraries if either the setting is in Tucson or Arizona or the author live in Arizona or Tucson and they said yes sorry ahead of time.…

The first piece of evidence to suggest Machiavelli is the prince is seen in the Dedicatory Letter. Machiavelli states, “... no greater gift could be made by me than to give you the capacity to be able to understand... all that I have learned and understood in so many years...” (Prince, dedication). This statement suggests that Machiavelli is persuading Lorenzo de Medici that his involvement in politics and his knowledge of the ancients make him an invaluable adviser.…
