The Great Gatsby is a loved book by many. Written by F. Scott Fitzgerald, it portrays the lavish life of the superior class in the Roaring Twenties. While people in the world are trying to conquer the American Dream, the author creates a twisted love story involving multiple characters in the novel. Gatsby’s view of love in The Great Gatsby differs from that of Daisy which leads him to try to appeal to her gold-digging personality. It all starts back in day, when Daisy and Gatsby first met. The two of them fell in love with each other, but could not marry. In the story, you don’t find out about this relationship for awhile.
