Edison was the last of seven children. He had trouble hearing because he had ear infection. Edison was a hyperactive kid which he was always getting distracted in school. Edison’s teacher got enough with him , which caused him stop going to school. His mother ended up teaching Edison. Soon at a young ages Thomas was asking his parents questions of physics that they couldn’t answer. He reached a great level of intelligence at such a young age. …show more content…
Although not all his inventions were a success some actually failed. For example one that failed was the talking doll. It was to sensitive to play with and the things the doll said wear off after repeating it a few times. It apparently went off the shelfs. Another of his inventions that didn’t ended up good was a telephone that talked to the dead. After World War 1 Edison thought it would be nice if families could contact their dead relatives. Unfortunately there was no proof that the telephone worked. And people that bought it never reported that dead actually talked
