Throughout this book, I have been through a ton of things such as racism. In school, I wasn’t the smartest kid, or a not a smart kid, people thought that since I’m asian, I was suppose to be really smart. People doesn’t need to be that smart even from the gender. I was dealt with things that other people have think, something that we have achieved, something that we argue about, etc. People think that I am a different person that doesn’t know anything. In the book, I can relate when the three girls are afraid to do something in the book, but they aren’t when they are outside. I was like that because I was afraid what other people would think of me when I would do it. “ Down to the corner where the me can’t take their eyes off us. We must be Christmas.” (pg.40) The girls was practicing and was showing off, and they was a little scare, but then they got use to it and they got the hang of it. I was like that, but I was showing what I could do that I never done, or something that I did really
