In “Everyday Use” by Alice Walker, two sisters named Maggie and Dee are described through the eyes of their mother. When Dee pays her mother and sister a visit all is well until Dee asks to have a family heirloom and is turned down. In this story you will notice many differences in the sisters but barely anything in common.
BODY PARAGRAPH For instance, Dee thinks she is better than who she really is, but Maggie who is better than who she thinks she is. Dee changes her name, ways, and clothes, all in the effort to change her identity, but she still doesn't want to cut ties with her family because she wants the family heirloom quilts. Maggie is very humble, she does work around the house without complaining,
