Going to New York city showed me that there is so much to life than I had ever seen in Iowa. I visited Radio City Music Hall which there I was introduced to all the different types of music that have been acknowledged in the Radio City Music Hall. I also was given the chance to visit the Rockefeller Plaza where the Today Show is hosted. I was able to walk through the Manhattan Central Park where they had benches dedicated to those who formed central park. My least favorite part of all, was traveling back home. Replacing my normal routine with the excitement honking horns of cabs in a hurry, and the rush of all the New Yorkers, was something I will treasure forever. I will strive to take my experiences from my eighth grade trip and use them throughout the rest of high school and through my college years. One day, it is my goal to visit New York again and create new experiences and learn from them and use them through the rest of my life.
