Through out the years, the state of the environment has been degrading so much. Some people argue that human being is the most important creation of God so we should focus on satisfying people’s need, instead of taking care of the environment, and animals. However, all environmental disasters affect people, whether in the long-term, or in the short-term. Others also argue that protecting the environment is less important than other tasks we must fulfill for the grace of God, such as sharing his word, obeying the 10 commandements, and other rules written for us in the Bible. Yes, we must follow God’s rules, but we must also preserve the land and sea the Almight God created for us to live peacuful, and happy. At least, some Christians show some concerns and take actions to preserve mother nature, but others do not. People argue that it is not part of the ‘10 commandements’ of God to preserve the environment. This is a huge misconception due to lack of understanding and knowledge of Christianity, which they think its main concern is to adore God by praising his name every single day. Sure it is, but let us take it into reconsideration and try not to understand all the words literally.
