In high school, students are taught basic academics that prepare them for college level material. For example, a student in high school might have to take Algebra I and Algebra II in order to meet the requirements for College Algebra. The purpose of college is for students to obtain a degree that many employers require before they will consider an applicant for a job. Once a high school student makes it into college they begin to take courses to graduate in a specific area of study. This makes studying between both different, because a high school student will study to reach their next destination, while a college student will study to find a career.
As the reader can conclude from this essay, studying is incredibly different in high school and college. Although studying is vital to the success of students in either type of school, the time it takes to study, the ability to find time to study, and the goal behind studying are all different for students in high school compared to those in college. For any high school student planning to attend college upon graduation, I implore them to question what their current study habits will mean to them as a college student. Will it be possible for them to remain the
