The wording for each question is aimed to be clear, short and exact. For each question, I utilize the aspect of directiveness to measure the exact responses of what each person might answer. I worded the questions such that the person does not need to consult records to answer the questions.
Overall, Question 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 are closed-ended question. For each closed-ended question, they are worded to avoid double barreled questions and are exhaustive but not exhausting. The level of measurement for the likert scale questions are ordinal. It is ordinal because it appropriately measures the attitudes towards the role of government in reducing poverty through an equally scaled measurement (strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree and strongly disagree).
