We are constantly looking for ways that will empower our clients. In short we look for ways that will help strengthen their strengths and give them the power to function better in society by themselves. A social worker will try to find ways to empower their client in their personal, interpersonal and political lives. We do this by engaging in a role that acts as a consulted in problem solving, resource management, and providing education. There are a lot of articles out there that has information about the adoption process but also the duties of a caseworker. The articles are very informational and are made by different adoption agencies, practicing caseworkers or professional organizations dedicated to adoptions and/or foster care. In each article I will explain the main points of the article and what it helped me learn about the adoption process or what a social worker would do and some challenges they might be presented with. I will also discuss how this information will show how the social worker will practice within the empowerment model and how their actions tie into the social work goals. I learned a lot from these articles and I will review the articles that I found interesting and
