It was around the middle of December in 2013 where I was stuck in the hospital after feeling ill for the past couple weeks. This was my one of my favorite months and instead of enjoying it with watching Christmas movies on the TV and being with family, I was in the hospital. Going through this has made me believe that I can go through anything and take on anything life throws at me. It has made me a much stronger person than I was before. This situation made me become self aware about my identity and helped me find out new things about myself I never seemed to notice before. It made me look at life in a whole new and different way and not to take anything for granted. There are many factors that I could have talked about that influenced my identity, but this situation, in particular, is one that had the strongest effect on me and brought a lot of change into my life.
