A bright light blinded Adam he squinted against it but he could not fight it, it was almost hypnotic. He took a few steps forward, there was no weight on him. No strain, no feeling of muscle movement at all. He soon became very aware that he was in limbo the land between life and death. He never had remembered him being this conscious while unconscious. It reeked of old guitars, Adam loved the smell, he often found himself lost in the dents and scratches that gave the guitar its personality. The dark oak color was intoxicating to his eyes. He breathed in the smell once more and began to play. It was a classic eagles song “Hotel California”, he accented every sound the guitar produced, he felt nothing but bliss.
