Describe the greatest challenge you have had to face or expect to face in the future.
I position myself on the blocks, my feet in place, hands ready and holding on to all the potential energy I could. *Pow* the gun sounds and we are off. My last race on the track team for the 300 meter at Regionals competition. I had won first place at Districts and knew I had those in my district beat, but I had heard the other districts offered far more competitive runners. As I bolted down the track. My Freshman year, I was a part of the ISTEM(Institute for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) program at Countryside High School and I found myself identifying with many school organizations. I had always found myself wanting to be a runner, but ended up having to choose which directions I allowed myself to be pulled in. The challenge became balancing the rigorous coursework and colossal amount of responsibility I had promised to fulfill. My largest obligations were participating in two shows with Troupe 900 (Drama Department), the Advanced Placement course deemed the most difficult (AP World History), and the various other difficult classes in my schedule.
