There is a limit of how far we can take a risk. Taking a very dangerous risk can result in people physically hurting themselves. In the movie, Walter Mitty jumped of the plane and fought a shark, in this case a person can easily be frozen to death or eaten by the shark. Then there a more of a simpler risk, like when Walter developed the courage to talk to Cheryl. Through this Walter developed a friendship, by just taking a simple risk. As individuals we should takes risks, that will benefit us but noticing that there is a limit of taking a risk to far. When we take an adventure or risk it may sometimes cost us money. When we spend all of it on our adventure, leaving us with no money left after. In Walter 's case, LIFE magazine is downsizing which Walter can easily lose his job. Walter is spending all this money to find Sean who doesn 't want to be found and he might not have any money left when he goes back home. Walter developed his motivation through Cheryl, who encouraged him to find Sean, without taking the risk of talking to Cheryl, Walter wouldn 't have gone on the adventure of finding Sean.When Walter goes through this adventure we can see how learns to move on from the past and opens up to Cheryl for comfort. We can see how the director slowed the scene, making a close up angle of the papa jones cup, making it feel like Walter was having a flashback and to give us an idea that Walter was facing the fact that he had moved on. When seeing Walter take on different adventure we see the extraordinary person that he is, instead of that boring, shy person who walks in the dark.
