The game is filled with obstacles and at times the characters disagree about what to do next, but in order to pass each level they must work and compromise together. Throughout the game there is anger, sadness, frustration, happiness, basically every emotion a player can possibly be in a game. The game also comes with a story line where the player connects and learns more about the game. The values in the game such as basic equality for all characters and character development is shown throughout the game, so in this aspect, it is representational to real life. Angelica is the oldest of the Rugrats so she constantly feels inferior to the others, and the game is constantly showing the player that this mindset is not correct by isolating her every time she becomes bossy. Overall the game is quite short in terms of length, but still a great game to play, especially if you loved Rugrats. It incorporates most of the material discussed in class including the elements and values that were provided in the reading, which represent our values in society. Learning how to understand the patterns and trends make completing the game easier and these are real world skills that can be applied to a player’s life in the future.
