1. Identify a strategy of a business unit and critically analyze to what extent are the culture, structure, routines, resources and capabilities aligned with the strategy.
For this assignment I have chosen a business unit within my organization Quintiles . This unit handles regulatory activities across the globe . All the information is taken from the company website and internal documents .

The first rate-limiting step will be to get the key documents and agree on countries and sites. Once those are received and agreed, we can develop the regulatory and start-up strategy which in certain countries very much depends on selection of NCs and CECs.
The strategy will take into account different priorities, e.g. countries that require signed investigator contracts prior to submission, or countries that require a defined site list for obtaining Insurance Certificate etc. A number of tools have been developed to allow our RSU Leads to be more proactive in their management of start-up
