Historically and habitually the RC forces require significant post-mob training to be ready prior to execute global requirements. On average, National Guard BCTs spend about 100 days at the post-mobilization site, leaving less than optimal BOG time. Regardless of how or when readiness is generated, the readiness requirements are the same; it is a matter of shifting the allocated resources from one side of the training spectrum to the other, mathematically speaking, to generate more readiness during pre-mobilization.
