• Paper and pencil
• Copies of photos per group of 4
• Chart paper
• Question stems (in Lesson 1 classwork packet)

Introduction
Materials Needed: copies of student classwork pages (1 copy per student)

5 min. Students complete the Do Now: Think, Pair, Share on the Lesson 2 Classwork. Teacher will give students direction, “Today I would you to think about your neighborhood and the places within your community that are important to you. Think about the places that impact your health, for example: corner stores, grocery stores, schools, clinics, etc.”
Teacher will then give directions, “Now on your Think, Pair, Share capture sheet, write down every place that is important to you and why.”
