Over the years the repetition of the practice becomes routine but never mundane the challenge of scaling a new hill or getting a faster time could never lose its appeal. I believe that they mirror life in a way, you never know if around the corner there is going to be a difficult uphill that will exhaust you for the rest of the race or a slight down hill that takes nothing more than a simple double pole. The ever changing climate and geography of the courses teaches me to always be on my feet prepared for the challenges ahead but hoping for the best.
Nevertheless through the hours of repetitive practice a certain level of patience is earned attained and appreciation for the time and commitment it takes for true perfection. During the season a strong work ethic is created with working and waxing for hours everyday of the season with the idea that of the sections race in the back of my mind. Through spending hours per week dedicating my life and spirit to Nordic I gained patience and extreme appreciation for dedication and I know these lessons will carry of the race course and drive me to go further in the course of my
