Yufeng Wu, HUMI 1 (9:30 am) Personal Experiment Don’t believe everything you see and think. It’s really interesting that our brain may show something wrong to us, but we believe that what we see is correct. There are two things I did during last two weeks. I went to the DMV(department of motor vehicles) to take my third driver test.…
I gasped under my breath. In an instant, the gray sedan headed toward me in the left lane had crossed into my lane to make a lengthy, wide left turn. All I could do was stomp on the brake. There was no chance. Irrrrrk!…
I have also been in the process of learning to drive before and I…
Driver’s Ed is meant to teach young drivers how to act behind the wheel and the ins and outs of driving. However, Driver’s Ed is not meant to be fun by any means. I found this out the hard way when I took Driver’s Ed last summer. It took all of my strength, will-power and endurance to make it through one of the most boring weeks of my entire life. The whole story begins with my older brother.…
The thought of getting behind the wheel seemed like far too much responsibility. While waiting for my mom to drive me anywhere was a somewhat aggravating loss of freedom, I felt I needed more time before I went back to piloting heavy machinery. I felt obligated to act almost as I had when I was first getting my license- I even spent awhile only driving with one of my parents in the passenger seat. At first, I was screaming internally from the moment I put the key in the ignition to the moment I parked it at my destination. Changing lanes made me very anxious, I saw all cars as threats (actually I still do), and unprotected left hand turns came close to actually frightening me.…
When I ride it's like the earth stops at every corner so I can check to make sure a, loud, car isn't roaring towards me. It's like that feeling in your chest that tells you that everything is going to be ok, yet your mind is screaming at you that it won't be. I ride because I was thought that you need to be active in life, but it was never about the one hour of activity time we are supposed to have growing up. it was much more than that. I didn't need help to ride, I needed help to face down my enemies, or conquer my dreams.…
The scion tC is an auto produced and sold by Toyota. The auto was brought into the United States in June of 2004 than later presented in 2010 Canada. The auto just has 2 entryways. The tC first era ran from 2005-2010 and the second era is from 2011 to display. The scion tC is my most loved auto.…
Relax and begin warning other drivers. If your brakes become unresponsive, do not panic. It’s quite possible that an empty soda can or some other piece of trash has become lodged behind your brake pedal. Downshift, is the second step, your car to a lower gear. Since most of us have automatic transmission, this means moving from D to 3, 2, or 1.…
Free Personal Driver It would be awesome if I have a personal driver. I would avoid to hassles of driving to work in rush hour traffic, Looking for where to park my car and driving back from work after a tiring day. When I was getting my driver's license, I did not know that driving in Mississippi would be stressful. Although I am a driver at FedEx Express, driving has never been my hobby. I would prefer to have a personal driver who would take me places than having to drive myself.…
Although childhood was full of good incident. But I remember the one when I was just 10 years old. I was sitting alone in my father's car. My father had parked the car near to a Pizza Hut corner. I was so excited that I want to drive the car.…
there. When I looked around there was no cars in the parking lot. I went in there and saw the same guy who told me that my patent are dead. "What are you doing in my car?"I asked him with anger. "Waiting for you to tell you something, in your car " he said rudely.…
When I started drivers ed, I did not think that I would pass, and my parents would be mad because they had payed $250 bucks for practically nothing. But I did pass, and this is my story. The first day the drivers ed class went to drivers ed we were all a little excited. The class should have been in the auditorium but there was something going on so Mr.Tuch told us to go to the high school gym. He introduced us, “Welcome to drivers ed, i am Mr.Tuch, and we usually sit in the auditorium…
and I didn’t know that the car would go so fast when I accelerated so then she explained it to me she told me “do not press the gas to hard because it will go fast and you will lose control of the wheel” so then I was…
There was always a simple dream, and hope that made twinges of excitement flow through my veins, the dream was to own my first car. The waiting was unbelievable, I could not imagine the day my dreams would come to pass, yet I think of it daily. Nothing would have convinced me to go apart from acquiring my first car. once I had it, I could have an opportunity to do what I love most, especially going on sightseeing at my own convenient time, and many exciting places I have heard and read from newsprints, and on TVs. Getting my driver’s license was just part of the battle, but my biggest challenge was raising the money to acquire the car.…
Being part of the generation who grew up watching Fast and the Furious films has always made me want to drive a car. At that time I knew I still had a while before I could drive, but any chance I got to be in the driver seat I would. My first time I ever got behind the wheel was right after I watch the fast and the furious in 2001. It was during the summer, my mom was washing her car and according to her “I accidently locked myself inside and somehow I managed to turn the car on and started backing up the car.” My mom was so scared she started yelling “put the car on park” “put the car on park” but I had no clue what she meant.…
