Perfect Mate Essay

Picking the perfect partner is ideal for an enjoyable life. It is not easy to find the perfect companion. In fact, many people pick the wrong mate and they have to separate. Love does not last forever because in order for it to last you must have the perfect person who does not judge and does not have their own opinion. That is not possible because no one person is perfect, but if they were, if it were possible, my standards would be as follows. I am very specific in picking a mate. My perfect companion would have blue eyes and blonde hair. Blue is my favorite color and I prefer blondes have over brunettes. My ideal guy would have to have a good taste in music. For example the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones etc. I grew up listening to classic rock. It would be very inconvenient if my mate did not, at least, have a good taste in music. I would prefer if they could play an instrument but it would not be a deal breaker if they could not. My man would have a laid back personality because I am a high strong type of person and if they were too we would butt heads a lot. I prefer a man who listens when I talk. I would want this because I talk an ungodly amount and I also do not like to repeat myself.

Although I went into more detail about what I thought she wanted. One similarity between both of us was that the person will not judge me. She also had on her list that my ideal significant other should make me happy and have a good sense of humor. It surprised me that my mom did not have any physical features, whereas my dad did. One example of what I thought he would write was that they had to be able to conversate easily. I thought this because my mom loves to talk, a lot. I also wrote that they had to be polite although, she put nothing of this sort. Those are some examples of what my mom said as opposed to what I thought she would

Love Locks This past summer I travelled to Tofino and had the great, good fortune to find myself exploring the Wild Pacific Trail. Over 9 km long, the trail winds along the rugged west coast of Vancouver Island. Waves crashing on the rocks below, giant cedars towering overhead, it is unquestionably an authentic west coast experience. Inspired by the breathtaking vista, I stopped for a few minutes to savour the view. As I gazed out across the mighty ocean swell, my eyes came to rest on a single, solitary padlock chained to the protective guard rail.…

In this article, Lisa Wade emphasizes the desire of men to have more intimate friendships. She states that men want the same things as women from an intimate relationship: “emotion support, disclosure and having someone to take care of them.” This goes against what we have previously read about men, but at the same time it is not. She does not say that men go around expressing their need to talk about their feelings, therefore we can assume that this is hidden from other, judgmental, men in an effort to still appear manly.…
