For years, I have faced bullying for being disabled. Due to osteosarcoma, I limped when I walked and could not bend my leg; therefore, I could not participate in regular childhood activities, such as bicycling and sports. Kids constantly imitated my limp and set objects in my path for me to trip upon. Kids called me harsh names such as, "Ms. cripple," and "Peggy Leg,". As encouragement, my grandfather said to me. Then, God blessed me with what I needed the most- patience. Patience was the virtue that helped me endure ten years of bullying, and I even smiled at them when they joked about my leg. Every year, all A's students were invited to a free lunch except me. Every year, I had a one hundred in history, and every year I would not receive the history award. Although all the teachers knew that chemotherapy damaged my speech ability, some still laughed at my struggle in pronunciation. Sometimes when my name is first on a list to get a spot for a trip, a certain sponsors would claimed that they overlooked my long name. I never understood why some of the teachers mistreated me, however, I handled the situations like the other ones- I just kept walking, and I kept my head held
