Oral history Is the persons knowledge of what happened in the past. This can be done from a story passed on through generations or from first hand knowledge. It is used as a form of history but is not the most accurate source. This is because many people do not have photographic memory and can have mistaken events because they forget key pieces of the story. A secondary source is anything that was created after the time being researched. One example of this would be a biography. A biography is an example of this because it was written after the time being researched by someone who did not experience the events but is writing about it. A second example would be textbooks.
