On my dad side my grandmother died from having diabetes. She had to get her legs cut just to survive but it wasn 't enough. This had happen before was born so I have no memory of her at all. The only memory I have is from what my mother has told me. My father only had one sister and she never talked about his father. His side of the family was basically limited and I wouldn 't had gotten far with information based off my own knowledge of them. I began to run out of information when it came to talk about other family members that I didn 't know about. An example is my mom 's other brother. The ones that are married into the family as my uncle, cousin, sister, or brother is what I call them. If someone were to ask me if that person was "blood related" to me, I 'll give them their answer, but right after my answer, I tell that person that regardless who they are in real life that 's still my family. If I see someone as my sister and they have no blood ties at all, they are considered my blood family. I looked at it as loyalty, love, and respect. If we have that close bond as a sister, you are considered my sister, nothing else. Sometimes my parent would use a different term I 'd she is upset and being obnoxious. Other than that, she is the same way. If she see someone as family, that 's family point blank period. You can 't tell her nothing different.
