Monsoon Wedding
An average and modern family, not rich, but also not poor is the movie Monsoon Wedding about. They live in a huge city, but on the outside of the city. Monsoon Wedding is a dramatic comedy from 2001, directed by Mira Nair and written by Sabrina Dhawan. Aditi Verma is the main character, played by Vasundhara Das, and the other actors also have their own story in the film. The central story is about a preparing for a chaotic and expensive arranged wedding where the bride has a secret. There are also a smitten event planner, an envious servant and a sad and angry cousin.
