Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a brave man who changed the United States by removing segregation. His childhood experiences affected his beliefs and actions as an adult. Some of those were personal experiences, role models and mentors, and his education. First, his personal experiences, when Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was six years old he had friends who would play with him. However, one day they stopped playing with him. It was because their parents told them not to because of racism. That was when Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. saw the societal problems in the Unites States.
