Although, after Macbeth did go through his plan and killed Duncan, his symptoms continued to get worse. Macbeth does start to feel guilty and surprised that he committed through with the deed, but once the feeling of guilt was fading, his ambitious side took over his decisions. Furthermore, Macbeth becoming more ambitious meant that he would stop at nothing to stay as king. That point came to thought since he’s already done one bad deed, it cannot be undone or get worse from that point forward. So also at this point, Macbeth remembers that the three witches stated that Banquo’s descendants have a chance of becoming king, Macbeth expresses his feelings about this conflict by saying, “To be thus is nothing, but to be safely thus. Our fears in Banquo stick deep, and in his royalty of nature reigns that which would be feared...To make them kings, the seeds of Banquo kings. Scar experiences antisocial personality disorder. Psychopathic Personality Disorder is described as “a chronic psychiatric condition with specific manipulative and exploitative behaviors” (World of Forensic Science) and is more common in men than women. Additionally, there is no procedural way to avoid this condition unless it was treated early with the right discipline. During the movie, Scar kills Mufasa showing no remorse, and manipulates Simba by saying that he killed his own father and saying that everyone will hate him. So Scar convinces Simba to run away and never return because if he does he will have consequences. Once Simba believes him and runs away, Scar convinces everyone else at Pride Lands that it was Simba who caused the death of Mufasa. Scar had all of this already worked out from his plan and is completely satisfied from what he is doing since people who have psychopathic personality disorder experience “no remorse for their actions or wish to alter their behavior” (World of Forensic Science). During this point of the movie, Scar is doing whatever is takes to ensure that he becomes king, just like how Macbeth takes advantage of everyone assuming that the sons of Duncan were the murderers, in order for him to become king as well and take over Duncan’s place. Scar realizes that he will not get caught
