Lilith: A Narrative Fiction

"I wish it was Eden, the Stars were there, you used to love the stars Lilith, I remember," he murmured, slumping back against the bed. His eyes closed "I liked eden, but there's no point in thinking about it....father he...traps me here..." He brushed his hands through his hair, he'd never spoken of his father...he didn't like to think about it. Though, he distracted himself from the troubling thoughts by groping the younger. His hands tailed over the pale skin, indulging himself in it hungrily. He'd never grow tired of it, so pale, so perfect. "You look good in blue, but I think pink would be nice too, such of soft pretty color for a soft, pretty girl like you," he murmured quietly, almost with affection. Though the affection was dulled by …show more content…
You're always so patient with me." He cooed quietly, pushing her legs apart with just enough force to open them against her feeble attempts to keep them shut. The small protest made him growl lightly, but his anger dissipated as she murmured, smiling softly up at him. Lilith was just shy he told himself, she always had been, even before. He did not blame her, not this time anyway, though the softer, kinder thoughts he held now could easily be made void with the wrong actions. He demanded a lot from Lilith, he knew he did, he didn't care though, she was learning, it was just a slow process. He removed her plug, noting that he would have to call a maid in to clean. Maids didn't just come to his room on a regular basis, as they cMe to many other rooms, he felt it was an invasion of his privacy. Satan alone decided when his maids cleaned the room, and called them in as he saw fit. There was a council meeting that evening, he'd take Lilith with Jim and have the room cleaned while they were out. He chuckled as the younger spoke, giving a coy smile "Oh Lilith, don't you ever worry about that. As long as you're messy because of me I don't mind it. It's me that put you in such a state, I take pride in that, in marking you," he stated that fact casually as if it wasn't as sick and as twisted as it actually was. As if it wasn't disgusting and deplorable that he took pride in it. As if it wasn't his son he was taking to. He pushed the head of his cock into her, groaning at the heat, which he always enjoyed. Lilith herself gave a soft moan and he grinned "You make such pretty noises Lilith, I've always enjoyed them so," he thrust all the way in, rocking himself slowly, softly, which was a rarity for him. The demon lord was overjoyed to see how her legs spread open for him, giving him better access. Though what was better was how she begged for it, rocking her hips up. "Mm. Good girl, Lilith. Good

In the chill air of winter, in the silent day of December, Edward walked Isabella to her car for the last time as the school semester had ended. They were standing there, in the empty parking lot, silently speaking through their eyes, until he kissed her on her soft radiant cheek. The final book in Butler’s Lilith’s Brood series is Imago, a word which initially brought to my mind imago dei. However, a more interesting connection might be in the biological definition of “imago”. In this framework, “imago” refers to “an insect in its final, adult, sexually mature, and typically winged state” ; the imago stage is the final one before metamorphosis is complete. I wonder if Butler had this idea in mind when naming the last book in her trilogy; she certainly engages many scientific and biological ideas throughout (her ecology, her use of cancer, etc.). Imago is the conclusion to the trilogy; it is the last glimpse readers have into what the future of humanity will be.…

George MacDonald’s celebrated masterpiece, Lilith, recounts the story of Mr. Vane and his sojourn through another world. In chronicling the five voyages Vane makes to this mysterious realm, MacDonald hauntingly explores the life, death, and ultimate mystery of salvation. MacDonald juxtaposes theology and fantasy using profound symbolism. I liken my own experiences with American Judaism, as experienced at The Hillel Center to this fantastic theological allegory. It has been a voyage through a fantastic land, rich in thought, beauty and symbolism.…

Final Assessment: Diaries Entries - Jasper HARTE 1st Diary Entry: Ma’s perspective (His first encounter with the Little Chinese Seamstress) Explanation Paragraph: As the warped wooden door creaked open, we were exposed to a mass of informality, splintering wooden beams, laden with dust that had gathered over time, watched cautiously over us, as we ambled wearily into the unknown. The distant murmur of a sewing machine resonated, as it reached our ears, humbled by this subjection to primitive technology that subtly reminded us of a distant world of inquiry.…

Come crossroads in human minds, from here it is your story. Decide if you will, what to believe, a barrier to rest upon as the pages slowly turn, and the end draws nigh. Finality lies ahead, but it is not written in the stars, it is like sand in time, particles shifting across shadowed plains of unseen potential. We must be blind, and in this blindness, justify what we feel before us. Please, you needn't deny yourself.…

The wind caressed my cheek in a soft embrace as it blew cold wispy kisses on my skin, the dark had taken over about an hour past, and the sky was filled with dazzling stars and a moon so ominous it sent chills down my spine. The ships had set sail this morning, leaving my home behind in hopes of a brighter life, a better future. As I had taken my first step onto the old ship, the floorboards creaked and groaned reminding me of the home I left. I looked out, marvelling in the darkness that surrounded me. The dancing stars were the only light I had, but back at home I had no other source of light either.…

I took a step. Beams of light blinded my eyes as the dense foliage above me turned into ochre as they descended from the autumnal boughs of the sycamore tree. The trees aligned themselves in front of me and began to undress themselves as their leaves pirouetted gracefully towards the ground. The gentle wind fanned my skin as it rushed to hug my legs, acting like a magnet to the hairs of my face. The dewy smell of yesterday’s rain embraced the grass; the leaves kissed the soles of my feet as a warm welcome into the untouched Garden of Eden crafted by the benevolent hands of God.…

“Feminist Manifesto” and “How Cruel is The Story of Eve” One of the ways feminism began, was within women’s literature. In Mina Loy’s “Feminist Manifesto”, she writes about how woman are not treated the same as men, women are treated as less. “How Cruel Is the Story of Eve”, by Stevie Smith, also discusses the inequalities between man and woman. These two pieces of literature have a lot of thoughts in common, despite the different time periods the authors wrote them in. Mina Loy and Stevie Smith both present thoughts on the inequalities between man and woman, how men and women’s values are placed on different aspects in society, but also how women are much more than society gives them credit for.…

Shakespeare et le genre Aphra Behn was born around 1640 and died in 1689, thus living in a period called the Modern Age when people focused on going back to the roots of Christianism hence considered both religion and social life. The rise of public fear and domestic fear was the result of a huge backlash both social and economical for women. Joan Kelly, a prominent historian who wrote Did women have a Renaissance? tackled the rise of conduct books for women, sermons and local justice as the reason why women's cultural role was on the decline. While marriage was seen as a career, Aphra Behn only stayed married for a few years and decided to become a spy after her husband died of the plague. After spending some time in prison, she decided…

Reconciliation Interrupted by the faint sounds of birds chirping and grass swaying in the gentle breeze, the calming silence became a distant memory. As the birds flapped their wings, moving at the edge of the tiny meadow, from one tree to the next, they cast their shadows over the body of a small brown skinned, black haired girl. She lay on her back in the hilltop grass, facing directly up towards the almost blinding light of the afternoon sun. Her dark skin, holding a lively warm glow, reflected the rays of sunlight off of her quickly flickering eyelids. Suddenly, they were open, revealing her dark brown almond shaped eyes and her ever so slightly off white sclera.…
