LEGOs allowed us to craft our imaginations into real life master pieces. Before Thanksgiving Break we were given the opportunity build with LEGOs in an English 1230 class. I would not say we were playing with LEGOs because we were relating back to a childhood memory. Our brains are more developed, but do we still have our imagination? Knowing we had to use a minimum of 30 LEGO pieces we raised the car three levels from the wheels. We then added the gray main body piece as seen in the picture above. Next we had to create the dinosaur part of the car. The neck of the dinosaur has a width of 2 LEGO pieces and a base length of 6, but a length of 4 on up from the base. The mouth extends from the neck with 3 pieces. One pieces gives the shape of a dinosaur snout, a flat brown piece attaches it to the neck, and they are connected by a gray 2x8 LEGO. Underneath the snout we place two orange pieces as the teeth and two flags that represent the fire. After the dinosaur part was done we decided to add characters inside the car. First, we added us three surrounding a turkey because Thanksgiving was the week after this project. The LEGO characters are each standing on a piece to secure the turkey. Secondly, we added the police man and criminal to the back of the car. Lastly, we added our chauffeur, Pioneer Pete to represent UW Platteville. In races, it may be able to keep tire pressure more constant and slow pressure loss without reacting to the tire and rim materials. Another thing that surprised me about the car was its design and build. What really caught my eye was that the inside of the body shell of the car.…
