She knows that Macbeth was too kind to even think about being unloyal to the King and by summoning her cruel side, she was able to get Macbeth on board with the plan. It states in Act 1 scene 5 ; lines 29-33, “ That I may pour my spirits in thine ear and chastise with the valor of my tongue all that impedes thee from the golden round, which fate and metaphysical aid doth seem to have thee crowned withal”.
