Wiig KM Cycle is one of the KM Cycles. Wiig is focusing on the three major conditions that should be available for an organization in order to direct its business effectively. (Mohapatra, 2016)
i)It must have a business and customers.
The organization should have products and services to provide to its customer.
ii)It must have resources.
Organization must ensure that it has enough resources for it to reach customers’ satisfaction and expectation.
E.g.: People, Capital, Facilities, etc.

Wiig investigate that the main purpose of KM as an effort to make an organization acts intelligently by facilitating creation, accumulation, deployment and use of quality knowledge. The aim of this cycle is to study about how organization’s knowledge is stored and used to generate values for individual, group and organization. (Mohapatra, 2016)
