Many historians believe Florence to be where the Renaissance started, there are many reasons for this thought; some historians think some reasons to be more important than others, but in my opinion the geographical position was the most important.
But why was the position of Florence important? In the early 15th century people were very closed off and lived their entire lives in one region.
