"Lies that build are better than truths that destroy," Senegalese Proverb. It seems like this is the best way can also protect both themselves and their relationships as well. For example, I remember when I was a child, I asked my parent let me to come to the teacher house, and I promised them to come back home at 7pm. After that, because of having too much fun, I didn’t want to go home on time. Finally, I went back home at 9pm and said that my bike was broken. I had to fix it that’s why I came home late. I lied to my parent because I didn’t want them to get upset about me, and exactly because I was afraid of telling the truth about what I did. There are many types of lying, some may never be realized, but some may be known in one day. Why do people still lie? That is because people who have lied know that they have done something that will anger or disappoint others. And obviously, people usually lie and create very fanciful stories in unbelievable level in order not to confront to others; to avoid losing their face; to avoid losing a job; to avoid going to prison; or even to stay in power. For me, this kind of lie is hurt the most. The truth will come out one day, and then everybody hurts when seeing the right of it, noticing that their beloved child lied to them, their best friend deceived them, and their lover betrayed
