There are around 9 million viewers who dedicate their time to Grey's Anatomy. One well known viewer from Pocahontas County is Andrea Christians. Mrs. Christians has devoted her Thursday nights to keeping up with the crazy crew on Grey's Anatomy. Her remarks on the show are, "It's like spending an hour with your crazy family and you feel connected with them. So much that you actually talk to them, or talk about them as if you really know them." For example, "Did you hear Meredith talking to Amelia last night?" or "Can you believe Christina did that to Owen?" Sometimes it's hard to distinguish the line between reality and the lives on Grey's Anatomy. The almost 9 million viewers are just the ones who watch every Thursday night. That statistic excludes the breed of fans I fall into, the streaming viewer. The streaming viewer is the type of viewer who can binge watch a season a weekend. Trust me, we aren't a dying breed.
With almost 1 million Mediacom subscribers, 12 million Hulu users, 14 million Dish subscribers, and 98 million Netflix users, I'm sure you fall into one of these categories. If you do? My first review will be on the hilarious and probably not very medically accurate sitcom Scrubs. The show ran nine glorious seasons (although some may say the last season was vastly sub-par) and survived cancellation at least once. That’s 182 episodes that made us laugh, cry and follow along with the addicting characters marriages, babies and promotions. Besides Grey’s Anatomy this is where I’m sure college students learned their basic medical knowledge. I also assume now whenever I’m in a hospital if every doctor has dated each other at one time or another.…

Mental health is one of the biggest problems facing the world today. Lives have been lost through improper treatment of unstable individuals time and time again through mass shootings and other tragedies. While stronger gun control could help lessen the effects of mass shootings, it's not solving the common problem these shootings have in common with each other, the shooter is almost always a mentally unstable person. Banning the weapon a person uses won't make as much of a difference because if the person is unwell, they will just use other means to accomplish their goals.…
