Holes Have you ever been accused of something that you didn’t do? Well, the book Holes by Louis Sachar is about a young boy named Stanley who ended up being in the wrong place at the wrong time and got accused of something that he didn’t do.The main idea of Holes is about growing up because Stanley shows that he can take responsibility, he has youth, and Zero starts his learning. “I stole it from your truck”(Sachar, page 86). So every time the kids in his middle school would tease him he would always try his best to ignore them. He is in 7th grade and all of the older 8th grade kids always tease him. I think that is why Stanley has
