District 12 is in “… the country of Panem” (Collins pg-13). I find District 12 interesting because of the woods. There are “… wild dogs, cougars and bears…” in the woods (Collins pg-5). Katniss hunts them in the woods. She needs their food because the children are hungry. There is an electric fence in the woods and “… trespassing… is illegal… ” (Collins pg-5). Katniss sneaks into the woods also she meets Gale in the woods (Collins Pg-6).

The name of the movie that reminds me of “The Hunger Games” is “Pixel”. Three things the two main characters have in common are Katniss and Sam protect their homes and cities, they both fight their enemies, and they are both brave. Four things that are different between Katniss and Sam are Katniss is a female protagonist, and Sam is a male protagonist. Katniss has a younger sister; Sam doesn’t have a sibling.
