The article talks about past events such as Columbine High School and University of Austin Tower shooting, where great arguments were made about campus carry. Katherine throws light upon about what could possibly happen if students are allowed to carry arms. The researcher bring up points from both sides, for example the University of Austin shooter was slowed down by armed individuals who opened fire at the shooter which allowed the cops to deal with the shooter and protected lives. On the other hand, Katherine talks about Columbine, and how the shooter were able to require the weapons used for the deadly massacre.
