I believe life is not a competition with others, is a competition with ourselves. There may be someone better, someone more experienced. But every day I can be a better me than before, until I am satisfied and I am truly convinced I´m the best I can be. While I was growing up I was always associated with my twin sister. But I wanted to be individual, my own self and that’s when I started looking for something that made me different, not only from my sister but from everyone around me. I realized that my whole life I´ve had desperation to create, whether it would be painting, baking, crafts, jewelry, stories or poems. I started working more and more on creating until I became skilled. I have helped build houses with Habitat for Humanity, I have visited the poorest homes in the surrounding of Mexico City during a one month missions, I´ve been the leader of a group of girls that I helped and trained in the arts of becoming an integral member of society, I have helped as a translator to doctors who have come to El Salvador to help the needy. In short, I have used my life not just to better myself but also to help the people around
