With the main producing countries of Cote d’iovire, Netherlands, Ghana, Malaysia and Indonesia and the main consuming countries of the United states, Germany, Belgium, France and the Russian Federation it is clear that there is a tremendous assortment of nations around the globe both consuming and producing cocoa. However, both producing and consuming countries are predominantly in the Northern Hemisphere.
