The debate in the House on the flag highlighted the great divide in our nation on the Constitution and the very definition of patriotism. They actually separate our freedoms from parasitism and have their own version of patriotism. And they separate our laws from our values.They say the flag symbolizes the freedom to burn it; that our flag is the symbol of unpatriotic conduct. That burning the symbol of patriotism is patriotic.
