This story has been provided, because in the beginning stages we believe that John’s mother is an ideal candidate for our product because she would benefit from having a constant awareness of where her pet is. At first, our hypothesized target customer was middle aged women with dog’s that run away, but through the customer interviews we are seeing see the opportunity for this product to grab the interest of all dog and cat owners and we are still building potential customer segments based off of this feedback. While we have determined the ideal customer archetypes, we are still defining the demographic of our target customer through interviews. For now, we know that we want our product design and logo to be recognizable and stylish to account for younger customers who tend to buy based off of the appearance of products. We also want the mobile app and assembly process to be as user friendly as possible to account for the needs of our less tech savvy older
