The restricting type is the type of anorexia that does not want to intake food. Anorexia Symptoms state, “People who intentionally starve themselves suffer from an eating disorder called anorexia nervosa.” In other words, the victim refuses to eat or digest any nutrition the body needs. The victim does not want to digest any substances in order to stay “skinny” or “thin.” The purging type of Anorexia Nervosa is when the victim eats normally but vomits all the digested food back up.
