Dracula was a very well developed story and had many different teaching all in one novel. Bram Stroker wrote this novel to really challenge your mind to try and figure out why all these events occur, and what was to happen next. Dracula takes place in Transylvania and in England. In the first part Jonathan Harker is making his way to Transylvania to the Counts castle. England is where Jonathan lives and most events occur here. I think he was trying to teach us that even when bad things may occur we still need stick together. But the author could also be trying to entertain because it really makes you wonder what 's going to happen next. The connection between the novel and my life is they both have challenges. The novel has scary things in it and so does the world we live in. In the novel they just kept on going and didn 't let anything get in there way no matter what happened to them. I do the same thing I don’t let anything or anybody get in my way of conquering something. When Lucy got sick and Mina stepped in to take care of her with no hesitation about it. The doctors also stepped in to take care of her when she was on deaths bed. I can relate that to my life because when people in my family gets sick or hurt we step in and help whoever needs it without any thought. The characters reach out for gods help a lot in the novel and often say they will leave it up to god and he will do what 's right in the end. In today 's world many people also reach to god when they need help in a bad situation or just needs someone to turn to. So even in the novel or in life everyone still needs god for
