Life was hard and bad for jews during WW2. They got taken from their home and they got put into ghettos. They were put through very bad and hurtful things.Amsterdam was a hard place to live in during WW2. Hitler was the leader of Amsterdam.

Anne frank was a little girl that grew up in the WW2 era.She got sent to a concentration camp.She had a diary and she kept the diary through WW2 and the camp. She was born in 1992,June 12 and she died March 12,1945. Her parents names were, Otto frank and Edith frank. She died of sickness called typhus at the Bergen Belsen concentration camp.Her dad was a officer during WW1.

The annex was a hiding place during ww2 that was in the back of Otto frank's business building.The door was covered by a book case. It was a big enough hideout to fit two families.She hid in the annex for 2 years before it got found and the members and everyone had to leave it.

Everyone that was hidden in the annex were found 2 years later and they all got sent to the belgian belsen concentration camp.They lived in the annex for over two years with her family.Anne frank died in the death camp with her friend they died for a sickness called typhus.
