Since Adriana, Antipholus, and Egeon all come to the point of having highly emotional situations in their lives due to the stress of unfamiliar situations, it can be inferred that Shakespeare uses the themes of suffering and understanding versus the senses to say that unfamiliar situations and the stress of them can cause people’s perceptions to be overcome.
