Character Analysis: Paul Is Rude

Paul is Rude. First of all, whenever they go to the fishing trip to Elkhorn, the very first thing Paul does is run off to find a spot alone. He doesn’t talk to anybody. He just leaves. Secondly, Paul makes fun of Neal for not being a real fisherman and for going to California instead of Montana.Lastly, he talks bad about Old Rawhide and how she was a “whore.” He calls her that because she has sex with everyone.
