That is why Brutus decided that it was best from Rome to kill Caesar. We know that Brutus loved Caesar everyone loves their best friends. Brutus even said ¨I love him well¨ when he was referring to Caesar. It had to have been a hard decision to kill your best friend. I couldn't even imagine how hard it would be to lose your best friend, let alone be apart of their killing. I think that just shows you how much Brutus cared for Rome. ¨If it be aught toward the general good.¨ Brutus said and killing Caesar was best for As much as he loved Caesar, it was his belief that Caesar was not meant to be king, and he thought that Rome would suffer from it. I think most people that read Julius Caesar think that Brutus was terrible for killing someone, especially his best friend, but I think that he did a good thing, to help Rome. And I know that Brutus also said some things he shouldn´t for example ¨ I do fear the people that choose Caesar for their king.¨ But in Brutus´s defence that sounds a lot ruder than he meant by it. I think he meant that he was scared a lot of people wanted Caesar to be king, and that was going to make Rome, suffer. That's the whole reason why Brutus was making that extremely hard decision in the first place. So you can´t blame Brutus for being scared that Caesar would be in favor for the commoners.
