In the play Julius Caesar, Brutus is a government official, and he has a wife named Portia. Brutus´s best friend is Caesar, he had to make the decision to either kill his best friend or have Rome suffer from a terrible king. Brutus is loyal to Caesar. Although Brutus was a part of his killing, doesn't mean he wasn't loyal to him. I believe that Brutus was just as loyal to Caesar as to any of best friends in modern days are. Brutus loved Caesar with all of his heart, but Brutus had to make the decision to kill him or possibly make bad of Rome. Brutus decided to kill him, but only for the good of Rome. That is why Brutus decided that it was best from Rome to kill Caesar. We know that Brutus loved Caesar everyone loves their best friends. Brutus even said ¨I love him well¨ when he was referring to Caesar. It had to have been a hard decision to kill your best friend. I couldn't even imagine how hard it would be to lose your best friend, let alone be apart of their killing. I think that just shows you how much Brutus cared for Rome. ¨If it be aught toward the general good.¨ Brutus said and killing Caesar was best for As much as he loved Caesar, it was his belief that Caesar was not meant to be king, and he thought that Rome would suffer from it. I think Brutus is an honorable Roman because he would go far enough as to kill a loved one for Rome. And proved that when Caesar was assassinated. I feel it is an important feature to feel so strongly about where you are from. I believe that if the United States of America was undergoing the same problems we would want to be able to have the best possible president that we can find, and for brutus Caesar was not a good match to be king. Brutus even said in the story ¨For the eye sees not itself but by reflection, by some other things.¨ To me people tend to judge by appearance, what I think he said is that you can't judge by appearance. it's the reflection of how they act and the purpose why the acted. I think most people that read Julius Caesar think that Brutus was terrible for killing someone, especially his best friend, but I think that he did a good thing, to help Rome. And I know that Brutus also said some things he shouldn´t for example ¨ I do fear the people that choose Caesar for their king.¨ But in Brutus´s defence that sounds a lot ruder than he meant by it. I think he meant that he was scared a lot of people wanted Caesar to be king, and that was going to make Rome, suffer. That's the whole reason why Brutus was making that extremely hard decision in the first place. So you can´t blame Brutus for being scared that Caesar would be in favor for the commoners. Also Brutus made that remark before his decision was finalized to kill Caesar. Brutus planned to kill Caesar then went back on his decision, because he thought he was going to make the wrong decision, but finally decided that it was best for Caesar to go.
